One of the things I didn't mention too much about in that previous post was my job. So far, it's been great. I am enjoying working with my boss, and I have wonderful coworkers. My official title is Program Development Manager, and I think my position will involve quite a bit of proposal writing/editing, meeting with potential corporate sponsors for our Helmets for Kids program, and other assorted things. It seems that right now is the high time for that stuff, and so I may be working on other things also after a while. But for now, it's a great way to get to know the organization and its history. I've got a lot to catch up on quickly though.
